Why we built this
A child who scrolls instead of plays loses the two things that protect them most: movement and connection. By the time it looks like depression, the habit is years old. One Hope was built to interrupt that loop early — gently, daily, without shame.
Not because parents stopped caring — because the apps were designed to win.
Children rarely say "I'm anxious". They say they're bored, tired, or nothing at all.
Free, unstructured play is where resilience is built. It is the first thing a screen takes.
Inside the app
One Hope isn't another place to spend time. It's a short, warm routine that hands your child back to the real world.
A 60-second daily check-in that gives children words for what's going on inside — no typing, no reading required.
Breathing, grounding and wind-down audio built for small bodies, for the moments right before a meltdown.
Daily offline challenges that end with the phone face-down: build it, find it, run it, draw it, ask someone about it.
You see the patterns your child can't explain, plus one plain-language suggestion for the week ahead.
Short narrated stories where the characters handle fear, envy and loneliness — so the lesson is lived, not lectured.
No ads, no infinite scroll, no social feed, no data sold. When the session ends, the app closes itself.
How it works
Pick the plan that matches what you can give. Every level unlocks the full app — the higher levels simply fund more children.
Your access details arrive right after checkout. Set your child's profile up in about two minutes.
One check-in, one calm exercise, one play mission. Then the phone goes down — that's the whole point.
The foundation
The app is the tool. The foundation is the reason. In most of the world, emotional support for a child is treated as a luxury, and the families who need it most are the ones who can never buy it. That is true in a village and it is true in a big city. Your plan is what closes the gap, wherever the child happens to live.
We don't limit this by country. Wherever a child is growing up without support for their mind, that is where the funding goes.
Funded access is delivered free through local schools and community partners — never resold, never advertised on.
Supporters get a plain report on where the funding went and what it paid for.
One plan, two childhoods
Every plan does the same two things — the only difference is how many children your support reaches.
Funded access is delivered through vetted local partners.
Support levels
Every level unlocks the same app for your family. What changes is how many children you reach.
For one family, and one child who needed it.
For families who want their support to go further.
Enough to reach a whole classroom.
The level most of our funding comes from.
For people and companies backing the mission itself.
Questions
Full access to the One Hope app for your household — the daily check-in, the calm exercises, the play missions, the stories and the parent dashboard. Every plan unlocks the same app. Higher levels fund free access for more children.
Your contribution funds licences that we give away for free through schools and community partners, in every country where we can reach a child who needs one. Those families pay nothing and see no advertising. We report back on where the funding went.
It's designed for children roughly 6 to 12. Everything important is narrated, so a child who isn't reading confidently yet can still use it alone. Younger children usually enjoy it more alongside a parent.
No. One Hope is a daily wellbeing habit, not a medical or clinical treatment. If your child is struggling in a way that worries you, please speak to a doctor or a mental-health professional.
We don't sell data and we don't run advertising inside the app. Full details are in our privacy policy, linked in the footer.
Your access details are emailed to you straight after checkout. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder and then contact us — we'll sort it out.
